He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemon William and May Loretta Cosner Gordon; and his siblings, Ray Gordon, Keith Gordon and Dorothea Metheny.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gordon; his daughters, Jeannette McIlwee (Dean), Brenda Sperry (Chuck) and Angie Gordon; his siblings, Ronnie Gordon, Sue Fazenbaker, June Cooper, Duane Gordon and Eddie Gordon; and his grandchildren, Chuckie, Jaclyn, Justin, Levi, Matthew, Emily and Matt.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Covenant Brethren Church (1101 Fairview Church Rd, Oakland, MD 21550). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
