Mary Timbers Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Timbers of Front Royal, Virginia, who passed away on June 5, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jasper and Julia Beasley; her husband Robert Haywood Timbers; and her brothers, George Bennett Jasper and Aubrey Bluestone Jasper Sr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Vida Timbers of Front Royal and Janet Timbers of Harrisonburg, Virginia.; her grandson Antoine Haywood Timbers of Downey; her sisters, Cassie Jasper Hughes of Baltimore, Cornelia Jasper Banks and Mayor George Banks of Front Royal, Virginia.; her nephew Tony Fletcher (Misty); her sons, Anthony and Garrison; her nephew Dr. Gregory Carson; and her friend Joe Jackson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The church has been closed due to COVID 19 since March 2020 but Mary dialed into the church's weekly phone teleservice every Sunday conducted by Rev. Dr. Olric Wilkins and teleservice Bible Study or Prayer every Wednesday.
