She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merritt DeLaMater and Elizabeth Ann Zeigler DeLaMater; her husband John B. Landes; her children, Jay Trapnell (Sadia) of Front Royal, Justin Trapnell (Charlotte) of Front Royal and Elizabeth Thompson of Front Royal; and her sisters, Diann Smith of Front Royal and Lerese DeLaMater (Stan Bruce) of Lakewood, Colorado. She was also cherished by her family and many friends.
