Oris Alvin Barner Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 27, 2026, Oris Alvin Barner of Front Royal, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Alvin Barner and Dora Lee Baskerville; and his sister Lena Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Monica Lynn Barner; his children, Oris Barner Jr., James Eury Jr. (Megan), Jasmine Eury (Arkeem), Jordan Eury (Michelle) and Jamal Eury (Ashley); his siblings, Doris, Janice, Terry, Patsy and James; and his nephew William Rhodes (Jennifer). He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren; his one great-grandchild; his numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to assist the family care of Maddox Funeral Home.
