With solemn reverence, we commemorate Shirley Phillips of Fulks Run, Virginia, whose life came to an end on June 26, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Evelyn Cathern Miller Runion; her husband Chester Dean Phillips; and her siblings, Glenna Kiser and Vernon Runion. She is survived by: her children, Donna Dove (Tony) of Broadway, Keith Phillips (Marie) of Harrisonburg, Darlene Ritchie (Richard) of Fulks Run, Delores Phillips of Harrisonburg, Harlan Phillips of Fulks Run, Debra Ritchie (Gary) of Fulks Run, Kay Wenger (Frankie) of Fulks Run, Amanda Branner (Mike) of Fulks Run and Jeremy Phillips (Amy) of Dayton; and her sisters, Violet Siever of Broadway and Joy May of Mt. Jackson. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home (5784 Greenmount Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22802). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain Grove Church (12769 3rd Hill Rd, Fulks Run, VA 22830).
