He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Prouty and Mildred Prouty; his sister Joan Reynolds; and his former wife Andrea Lynn Prouty. He is survived by: his significant other Bette Rae Prouty; his brother Leon Prouty (Sue); his sons, Bruce Prouty (Katherine) and Todd Prouty (Sally); and his stepchildren, Kellie Bourque (Hubert), Kevin Bourque (Amy) and Kyle Bourque (Christine). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
