Bruce Mark Prouty Obituary
In loving memory of Bruce Mark Prouty of Gainesville, Virginia, who departed this world on June 2, 2025 at the age of 82. Bruce Mark leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Prouty and Mildred Prouty; his sister Joan Reynolds; and his former wife Andrea Lynn Prouty. He is survived by: his significant other Bette Rae Prouty; his brother Leon Prouty (Sue); his sons, Bruce Prouty (Katherine) and Todd Prouty (Sally); and his stepchildren, Kellie Bourque (Hubert), Kevin Bourque (Amy) and Kyle Bourque (Christine). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (6750 Fayette St, Haymarket, VA 20169).
