Catherine Foy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Foy of Gainesville, Virginia, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary C. Foy (Quinn) and James W. Foy; her sibling Thomas F. Foy (Carol); her nephews, Andrew T. Foy (Kay) and Brian W. Foy (Christine); her great-niece Georgia; and her great-nephews, Daniel and Matthew.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Marks Catholic Church (1725 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester Center, MA 02124).
