He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Woods and Eddie Lois Woods; and his siblings, Sandra Compton and William Woods. He is survived by: his wife Darlene A. Woods; his children, Dana Johnson (Pete), David E. Woods II (Kim), Karyn Luckado (Jesse) and Jonathan Woods; his stepdaughters, Danielle Nystrom (Keith), Amy Dominick (Frank) and Crystal Lee (John); and his siblings, Thomas Woods (Margie), JoAnn Taylor (Spencer) and Andrew Woods (Teresa). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
