We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2026, at the age of 91, Mildred Gray of Gainesville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mildred shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mildred farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Juanita Johnson Carroll and Henry Carroll. She is survived by: her daughter Edwardina Smith; her son-in-law David Smith; her granddaughter Kari (Angelo); her brothers, Henry Carroll (Elaine) and Wayne Carroll; and her stepgranddaughter Kimberly. She is also survived by family in DeBary, FL and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
