He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jean Chipman (Gates) of Brooklyn, OH; his children, Deborah Lee Zeller (Randel) of Clifton, VA, Valerie Ann Powers of Gainesville, VA and Richard Alan Chipman, Jr.; his grandchildren, Daniel Fortney, Jr. (Corinne), Leanne Fortney, Diane Wilson (Brian), Amanda Chipman, Richard Chipman II, Alexandra Candler (John), Nathaniel Zeller and Amber Powers; his great grandchildren, Genesis Fortney, Brittany Fortney, William Thomas, Elijah Fortney and Jacob Fortney; his nieces, Sandra Stuart (Tom) and Candyce Denton; his great-niece Rachel Jones; and his great-nephew Michael Jones.
