Richard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Richard will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by: his siblings, Earnest Henry Jr. and Lajacqulynn Smith; his nieces, Bronvia, Elizabeth and Tiffany; and his nephew Carrington. He is also survived by four great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to: American Heart Association, American Kidney Fund, or American Cancer Society.
