Sandra Christine Lindblad Obituary
Sandra Christine Lindblad, 79, died peacefully on April 7, 2026 at UVA Health Medical Center in Haymarket, Virginia, surrounded by family after a long illness.
Born on March 13, 1947, in Worcester, MA, and raised in nearby Grafton, Sandra lived for many years in New England before eventually moving to Northern VA where she resided for 36 years. Professionally, she served as a trusted and highly respected Executive Secretary throughout her career.
Sandra is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Russell Lindblad; her loving children, son Scott Lindblad and wife Deborah of Walpole, MA and daughter Kristen McArtor and husband Jason of Aldie, VA; adored grandchildren, Evan and Kyle McArtor and Abigail Lindblad; and her brother, Kenneth Ericson of Grafton, MA.
Sandy was known for her incredible warmth and her ability to make everyone feel special. Her family will always remember her vibrant spirit and the love she poured into those around her.
There will be no calling hours or formal services.
