She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Rector of Galax, Virginia and Regina Rector of Dupont, Washington; her sister Barbara Kyle of Galax, Virginia; and her siblings-in-law, Wanda Byrd and Harold Shumate. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
