She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Columbus and Bonnie Sue Young Phipps; her brother Preston Phipps; and her brother-in-law Marshall Braylo. She is survived by: her husband John Wayne Davis; her son Michael Wayne; her daughter-in-law Ellen Kegley Davis of Independence; her daughter Susan Kelly Davis; her son-in-law James Gray of Galax, Virginia; her sister Reba Sue Phipps Braylo of Staunton, Virginia; her grandchildren, Erica Nicole (Stephen Brown), Emory Lee (Taylor Davis), Makayla Martin Davis (Alex Wright), Sarah Elizabeth Gray and Leah Catherine Gray; her great grandchildren, Tanner Michael Brown, Silas Emory Davis and Elizabeth Margaret Davis; her nephews, David Lee Braylo and Darren Matthew Braylo; her niece Ann Marshall Braylo; and her close friend Tracy McMickle of Galax, Virginia..
