For Billie Joe is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Fonzo and Nellie Mary Bowers Ayers; his wife Stella Ruth Lineberry Ayers; and his daughter Elizabeth Ann Duncan. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jennifer Ayers of Williamsburg, Virginia, Chasity Wright of Galax, Virginia, Czonka Testerman of Galax, Virginia and Roger Bobbitt of Independence, Virginia; his siblings-in-law, Danny Lineberry and Janie Criner of Galax, Virginia; and his sibling's children, Roger Thomason and Debbie Frost of Galax, Virginia.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
