He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbet Lester and Iris Velma Spencer Bryant; and his daughter Ann Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Carico Bryant of Galax, Virginia; his daughter Kara Newman of Galax, Virginia; his stepsons, Charles (Kim Galyean) and Dereck (Vanessa Galyean) of Galax, Virginia; his siblings, Candy Bryant of Hillsville, Virginia and Donald Bryant of Lambsburg, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Brandon Cain, Cory Cain, Liam Galyean and Tori Galyean. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church (1120 Greenville Rd, Galax, VA 24333).
