She is survived by: her sister Coleene Heritage of Galax, Virginia; her nieces, Carolyn Murphy of Fries, Virginia and Karen; her husband Butch Blankenship of Woodlawn, Virginia; her great-niece Larissa Edwards of Narrows, Virginia; and her great-nephews, Seth Edwards of Fries, Virginia and Connor Blankenship of Narrows, Virginia..
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Monta Vista Cemetery (1031 Glendale Rd, Galax, VA 24333).
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to either the Providence Methodist Church or Fries Fire Department.
