He is survived by: his mother Kathy Burnette Marshall; his wife Rose Cockerham Marshall of Galax, Virginia; his sons, Richard (Desiree Leonard), Donald Marshall III, Christopher (Isabella Marshall) and Aaron Marshall; his sister Stephanie Hines of Galax, Virginia; his grandchildren, Josie Leonard, Kayla Leonard, Audrie Leonard, Brandon Leonard, Alexis Leonard, Richard Bentley, Anthony Ray, Everly Marshall (Tinkerbell) and Christopher Marshall (Lil Man); his great grandchild Adalyn Leonard; and his brother Bobby Brooks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
