He was predeceased by: his father Thurman Roberts; and his wife Diana Roberts. He is survived by: his mother Mallie Vaughn Roberts (Virginia) of Galax; his daughter Valarie Flanigan of Maiden; his siblings, Rita (Mike Jennings), Teresa Roberts of Woodlawn, Virginia, Cindy (Keith Bischer) and Terry; his sister-in-law Carmela Roberts of Woodlawn, Virginia; his grandchildren, Victoria (Robbie Brown) and Justin (Krystal Flanigan); and his great grandchildren, Cameron Brown and Eli Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Ararat Cemetery (175 Russell Ln, Galax, VA 24333).
