She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Hamilton of Galax, Virginia; her siblings, Helen Carter of West Virginia and Fred Lester of Lambsburg, Viginia; her grandchildren, Matthew Whitworth of Chicago, Illinois, Nicole Hamilton of Galax, Virginia and Maggie Hamilton of Galax, Virginia; her great grandchild Amia Hargrave; and her grandchildren, Charlton Hairston and Dominic Barone.
