He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clifford and Helen Caudle Galyean. He is survived by: his sons, Charles (Kim Galyean) and Dereck (Vanessa Galyean); his stepmother Mitzi Galyean; his sister Michelle; his brother-in-law Larry Thompson; his brothers, Nelson (Linda Galyean) and Mike (Sandra Galyean); his grandson Liam Galyean; his stepgrandchild Tori Galyean; and his close friend Sandra Felts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Galyean Cemetery (18 Partner Ln, Galax, VA 24333).
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Galyean Cemetery, C/O Cathy Reedy, 1846 Snow Hill Road Galax, Virginia; 24333.
