She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy Boggs and Myrtle Poole Boggs; her husband Chester Overman Holshouser; and her brothers, Raymond Boggs and Hayden Boggs.
She is survived by: her daughter Jo Ann Arey of Galax, VA; her granddaughter Kelly Arey; her great grandchildren, Eli and Isaac; and her nephews, Greg Boggs and Gary Boggs.
