She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Shaw and Sarah Shaw; her husband Gene Blevins; her son-in-law Tom Wilson; and her siblings, Helen Kathleen Shaw, Hope Shaw Carter, Mildred Shaw Poole, Ramona Shaw Green, Jim Shaw and Bob Shaw.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda "Pinky" Wilson, Sara Williamson (Harold), Pat White (Gary) and Cheri Strickland (Mark); and her grandchildren, Sunshine Andrews (Andy), Shawna Wilson (Shane), Zac Wilson (Terra), Megan Kinnison (Brett), Sloan Williamson (Ariana), Shana Williamson (Donald), Hannah Burke (Josh), Sarah Strickland and James Strickland (Casey). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel (201 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at the Monta Vista Cemetery (1031 Glendale Rd, Galax, VA 24333).
