It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ila Mae Kirby Haynes of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Emmett Kirby and Mary Norman Kirby; and her husband Buford Haynes. She is survived by : her son Jimmy; her daughter-in-law Susan Haynes; and her sisters-in-law, Irene Kirby of Galax, Virginia and Frances Nale of Galax, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
