She is survived by: her son Gale; her daughter-in-law Pat Hawks of Burlington; her sisters, Imogene Norman of Galax, Virginia, Iona Adams of Galax, Virginia and Ina Delp of Galax, Virginia; her grandchildren, Jana Herron (Greg), Kara McConville, Adam Hawks (Caitlin) and Andrew Hawks (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Marli, Lendi, Mason, Oliver, Ainsley, Brody and Anna Jayne; and her friend Anna Catron. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
