He is survived by: his son Vincent; his daughter-in-law Barbara Brown of Galax, Virginia; his daughter Twila; his son-in-law Roger Roberts of Rural Hall; and his sister Nancy Hampton of White Lake. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; host of great-grandchildren; host of great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
