He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Houston and Hattie Eugene Hampton Roberts; his wife Brenda Kay Rogers Roberts; and his son Byron Keith Roberts. He is survived by: his daughters, Danita (T. J. Wills) of Winter Haven, Florida, Melissa (Mickey Alley) of Galax, Virginia and Lori (Kristin Roberts) of Huntsville, Alabama; his brother Ted Roberts of Bristol, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Kayla Grubb, Chasity Vaughan, Payton Alley, Kaydean Roberts and Nick WIlls. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel (201 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333).
