He was predeceased by : his parents, Ramon Rios and Margarita Hernandez Rios; and the mother of his children Peggy Lincoln Rios. He is survived by : his wife Beverly Higgins Rios of Galax, Virginia; his children, Victor R. (Suzanne Rios), David A. (Patricia Rios), John S. Rios of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Whitney L.; and his son-in-law Richard Munroe of Davidson. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
