As we bid Loretta Jane farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Loretta Jane is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Greek and Naomi Grace Burnette Davis; and her brother Harold Douglas Davis. She is survived by: her sister Linda; her siblings-in-law, Nelson Galyean and Becky Davis of Galax, Virginia; and her sibling's children, Ross Davis, Brandy Widner Doug (Craig) and Donnie Galyean (Angie). She is also survived by eight great nieces and nephews; two great -great-nephews and one great niece.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Monta Vista Cemetery (1031 Glendale Rd, Galax, VA 24333).
