Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Eugene and Winfred Naydene Bolen Woodel; and his grandmother Grace Ayers. He is survived by: his sisters, Jennie Parks of Marion, Virginia, Bo (Richard Hull) of Galax, Virginia, Trena (Mike Hammer) of Galax, Virginia, Vicki Alley (Brent Johnson) of Galax, Virginia and Tammy Woodle (Mike) of Bainbridge, Georgia; and his close friend Tammy Woodel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephew.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Apostolic Church of Galax Glendal.
