As we bid adieu to Mildred's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mildred has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Williams and Sina Cooley Williams; her husband Glenn Wilson; and her siblings, Margaret Williams (Peggy) and George Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Vest of Roanoke and Gregory Wilson (Greg) of Floyd; and her granddaughter Kacie Vest of Roanoke.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to the Employee Christmas Fund at Commonwealth Senior Living (100 Kyle Drive, Hillsville, Virginia 24343).
