She was predeceased by : her parents, James Edwin Stanley and Ruth Brown Stanley; her daughter Teresa Hanes; and her siblings, Billy Stanley, Betty Stanley and Vicky Stanley.

She is survived by : her daughter Tessa Redd of Hillsville; and her caregivers, Vanessa and Robert Redd. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a special niece and nephew.
