She is survived by: her sons, Cary (Paige Shumate) and Michael (Kristin Shumate); her sisters, Colleen Hudson of Ennice and Mary Weatherford of Bedford, Virginia; her grandchildren, Bailey Cheek (Austin), Stacy Farmer (Trent) and Eliana Shumate; and her sister-in-law Linda Wilson of Galax, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
