She is survived by: her son James; her daughter-in-law Patricia Tolbert of Galax, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Derrick Tolbert (Jenny Jo) of Floyd, Virginia, Jennifer Shaffer of Independence, Virginia, Leeann Cheek (Joseph) of Galax, Virginia, Christopher Cecil of Galax, Virginia and Autumn Brown (Austin) of Galax, Virginia. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
