He is survived by: his daughter Trina; his son-in-law Larry Van Hoose; his grandchildren, Justin Hicks, Jared Hicks, Joshua Hicks, Olivia McMillan, Nolan Davis, Nicholas Smith, Dwayne Smith and Heather Hudson; and his close friend Nellie Mabe. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
