He is survived by: his wife Ruth Stapleton Lewis; his sisters, June White, Betty Bowen, Lois Dockery (Fred) and Lisa Snodgrass (Steve); his sisters-in-law, Lana Faye Lewis and Shirley Stapleton; and his niece Jennifer Barker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
