He is survived by: his children, Jeffery H. Stamper, Ricky Stamper (Pam), Connie McIntosh (Patrick), Faith Gibson (Rick Boggs) and Ronald Benjamin Irwin; his grandchildren, Tyler Young, Justin Young, Cole Young, Chelsea Grace, Matthew Boggs, Jeffery Stamper, Justin Stamper and Sarah Stamper; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Andrew, Wells, Caiden, Cael, Logan, Brandon, Sammy, Gavin, Aryea and Murphy.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Apostolic Revival Center (2132 Nickelsville Hwy, Gate City, VA 24251). Visitation was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the V. A. Mountain Home National Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Apostolic Revival Center (2132 Nickelsville Hwy, Gate City, VA 24251).
