With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Bond of Gate City, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Urbie Proulex and Clara Steele Proulex; and her siblings, Ricky Proulex, Jerry Proulex and Debbie Parks.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Mason (Ben), Billy Bond, Benji Bond and Bradley Bond (Samantha); her grandchildren, Abbie Tester (Michael "Pete"), Brue Mullins (Caitlyn), Connor Bond, Carlie Bond and Dakota Myers; her great grandchildren, Rylee Tester and Kylie Tester; her sisters, Lisa Salyers (Doug) and Catherine Rust (James); and her close friend Buddy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
