She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kilgore and Julia Kilgore (Price); her husband Fred Bishop; her siblings, Loraine (Ketron), Betty (Tom Winegar) and Gary (Wilma Kilgore); her granddaughter Jamie Johnson; and her son-in-law Eric Christian.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Christian, Deloris Thacker (Ralph), Darrell Bishop (Sandra) and Kelvin Bishop; her grandchildren, Chris Christian (Karen), Mike Christian (Angie), Pam Kestner (Terry), Misty Carter (John) and Becky Bishop; and her grandson-in-law Rick Johnson. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Scott County Funeral Home (2060 US-23, Weber City, VA 24290). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Walnut Chapel Cemetery.
