She was predeceased by: her parents, George Madre Burdette and Virginia Burdette (Eggers). She is survived by: her husband Ford Quillen; her daughters, Madre Forsha (Mike Thomas), Carter Brown (Thomas) and Lenoir McClung (Marcus); her grandchildren, Kristopher Forsha (Margaret), Connor Brown (Caroline), Patrick Brown, Anna McClung Ray (Nolan), Mac McClung and Cam McClung; and her great grandchildren, Oliver, James, Sylvie, Miles, Townes and Vivie Forsha.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gate City Funeral Home (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251).
