It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gleaves Larry Stallard of Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gusta Lee Stallard and Leta Stallard (Dougherty); and his brother William Stallard (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Emburta Stallard (Miller); his children, Cora Carpenter (Bob), Jennifer Renee Kirk (Terry), Lisa Guevara (Juan) and Stuart Stallard; his grandchildren, Rex Carpenter (Brittany), Keith Carpenter (Ting Chia), Brian Carpenter, Steven Carpenter, Alex Tipton, Juan Anthony Guevara (Emma), Nathan Guevara (Miranda), Melissa Ridenour (Alex), Andrea Guevara, Ashton Nichols, Spencer Nichols, Caleb Stallard and Savannah Stallard; and his siblings, Jim Stallard of Gate City, VA, John Stallard (Lana) of Gate City, VA and Carmen Stallard of Gate City, VA.
