With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Lyons of Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Howard and Laura Frazier Lane; her brothers, Billy Ray of Ernie, J. D., Gary, Danny Joe, Glenn and Mike Lane; her brothers-in-law, Wayne and Earnest Folden; and her sisters, Bea Lane Kilgore and Loreen Folden.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy (Rhonda Estep) and Lynn (Amy Estep); her grandchildren, Adam Estep, Julie Carroll (Christopher) and Sydney Ison (Matt); her great grandchildren, Alexis Carroll, Bentley Carroll and Kyleigh Ison; her siblings, Charles "Junior" Howard Lane (Anita), Geraldine Folden and Linda Kay Folden; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Lane, Dory Lane, Linda Lane, Mary Lane and Brenda Lane. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
