We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2025, at the age of 71, James Ore Isaacs (Gate City, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Francis and Mary Isaacs (Dixon); and his brother-in-law Rick Robinson. He is survived by: his children, James Isaacs (Julia), Cindy Greene (Mark), Mary BarEl (Doran) and Rachel Stram (Eric); his siblings, Violet Shelton (Jeff), Sherry Jean Robinson, Gail Isaacs and Paul Isaacs (Jerri); his grandchildren, Eric, Cameron, Sevin, Patience, Eitan, Nadav, Elad, Bree, Jack, Sigrid, Sophie and James River; and his great grandchildren, Kyan, Tyeson, Miracle, Malia, Anna Bell and Hazel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gate City Funeral Home (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel.
