He is survived by: his mother Lorene Darnell (Sexton); his wife Rachel Lane; his children, Nevaeh Lane and Owen Lane; his father-in-law Jimmy Baker (Wilma); and his siblings, Michelle Hunley (James), Norma Gibson (Jim), Charles "Pug" Lane, Jimmy Darnell (Laura), James Lane (Della), Teddy Darnell and Junior Darnell.
