She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Martin Tipton and Sarah Elizabeth Hammonds Tipton; and her siblings, Annette Haynes and John Gary Tipton. She is survived by: her husband Rev. James Combs (Jimmy) of Gate City, VA; her children, Marty Combs (Mamie Minton) of Kingsport, TN, Regina France (Rick) of Kingsport, TN and Angie Hammonds (Keith) of Weber City, VA; her sister Marlene Davidson of Gate City, VA; her sister-in-law Wilma Tipton of Church Hill, TN; her brother Bobby Tipton (Vicki) of Gate City, VA; and her brother-in-law Richard Haynes. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
