She was predeceased by : her parents, Maude Hodges and Willie Hodges; her husband Walter "Alex" Hood; her children, Barry Hood, Billy Hood, Angela Dudley and Tammy Hodges; her grandson Scott Cundiff; and her great grandchild Thomas Berg.
She is survived by : her children, Bonnie Altice (Rickey) and Bobby Hood (Phyllis); her son-in-law Jimmy Dale Hodges; her grandchildren, Darrell Hodges, Crystal Berg, Walter "Buck" Dudley, Brandon Altice (Kristen), Otis Dudley (Josey), Caleb Hood and Rebecca Sink; her great grandchildren, Destiny "Nicole" Berg, Zoe Berg, Jason Altice, Jacob Altice and Lyric Hayden; her sister Peggy Hodges (Gilbert); and her close friends, Betty Lou Hood, Faye Beckner and Diane Durham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
