She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Fitzgerald; her son Kenny Fitzgerald; her parents, Dock Thomas and Nannie Grace Arrington; her grandson Christopher Fitzgerald; her great grandchild Zane Parks; and her siblings, Lonzie, Thomas Jr., James Herman, Frank, Fred, Christine Short, Louvenia Hilbrecht and Natalie Silvercloud.
She is survived by: her children, Roger (Fran) of Roanoke, Jeffrey (Jennifer) of Glen Allen, Barbara Parks (Ray) of Pulaski and Brenda Mason (Tom Riddle) of Bassett; her sister Nancy M. Dalton (Robert) of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Matthew Parks (Heather), David Parks (Melissa), Grace, Bryle Fitzgerald, John Mason II, Amber Ison (Bill), Caitlin Fitzgerald, Kiley Fitzgerald, Mackenzie Fitzgerald and Ryan Fitzgerald; and her great grandchildren, Shelby, Abigail, Christie, Luke, Sofi, Ethan and Jude. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
