She is survived by: her son Roy Lynn Holland; her grandchildren, Jacob Lynn Holland of Rocky Mount, VA and Cieanna Lynn Holland (Chris Nielsen) of Union Hall, VA; her sister Nancy Brooks Lambert (Glade Hill) of Charlottesville; her nieces and nephews, Karen Ann Wray (Ernest Yopp) of Glade Hill, VA, Robert Daniel Amos of Glade Hill, VA, Ernest Lee Amos of Glade Hill, VA and Melinda Annette Wray of Charlottesville, VA; her great-nephews, Darrin Eugene Swihart II of Roanoke, VA and Jonathan Wayne Perdue of Charlottesville, VA; her cousins, Ronnie Law (Jamie), Judy Ayers Nunnenkamp (Bob), Brenda Perdue Overholt (Tom), Susan Law Dudley (Wayne), Nelson "Sonny" Ayers, Jr. (Debbie) and Gary Law (Lori); and her caregivers, Patricia Bennett, Deborah Brown, Pat Hodges, Kaitlyn Wilcher, Marjorie Mason, Amanda Eanes, Rose Mary Williams, Peggy Scott and Annette Dalton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Franklin Heights Church - Rocky Mount (110 Hilltop Dr, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. After 47 years of service, she continued to volunteer through the hospital's auxiliary until the pandemic in 2020.
