He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Crystal Turner-Avila; his mother Margaret Bowers; his father-in-law Rev. Denver Turner (Donna); his brothers, Jerry Avila and David Taylor (Brandie); his brother-in-law John Turner (Marcia); his nephews, Josh Taylor, John T. Turner and Charlie Taylor; his niece Alexis Turner; his stepsiblings, Jimmy Bowers (Ginny) and Judy Smith; his brother Doug Blankenship; and his granddaughter Karlee.
