She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Richards (Larry) and Leigh Wambsganss (Andy); her grandchildren, Ryan Morris (Keely), Shannon Bess (Nick), Aaron Richards, Walker Wambsganss and Joshua Wambsganss; her great grandchildren, Jett Morris, Hudson Bess and Truitt Bess; and her sister Nell Null.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Rose Cemetery (10069 Crescent Rd, Glade Spring, VA 24340).
Even in death, in hopes of helping others, her last act on this earth was to donate her brain to Alzheimer's research.
